We had a great time hiking in the Smoky Mountain National Park. We also spent a day at Dollywood. I enjoyed the shows and just being in the area. Tennessee is such a beautiful place to spend some time outdoors. I will post some pictures soon for you.

Out for the weekend
April 18, 2008It is birthday weekend! We have a lot of birthdays in April in our extended family. This weekend I will be out relaxing for my birthday. Then next week I hope to get the last of my cards mailed out. So if you leave me an email or a message on my phone, I will get back to you, I promise. It may take me a few days though. Hope everyone else is having a good spring.

I thought it only appropriate to begin the new year with a new blog. Yes, I realize it is now April, but hey we have to start somewhere! I am going to be dedicated to posting on here every single week, so check back often to see what I am up to.
I am excited about posting the adventure of my photography journey in the year to come. Layne Photography gives me a way to capture the stages of life I see around me and the blog will give me a way to keep my clients updated with new things we are offering.
To start off, my first update is to annouce I am now accepting maternity clients. If you would like some maternity photos just call and let me know. We try to shoot between 32 and 36 weeks of pregnancy.
We have already started our Senior 2009 Model Search. I will be putting together a book and I am currently accepting applications for models. If you think you have the ‘look’ or just want to give it a try, email us and let us know you would like an application sent to you.
