The June Wedding

This was a fun wedding and the pictures have been proofed for awhile. I am just slow getting these posted.  

Summer is here!

As we all know June brings summer, kids out of school, swimming, and also weddings!   I had the privelege of driving to my niece’s wedding this month. I shot the events but could not have done it without the help of a friend.  She was a fantastic to help me.  I don’t normally do weddings and she really helped me with the little bits of advice and ideas.   

It made me cry to see her in her beautiful wedding gown.  The ceremony was wonderful.  Here is a shot from the eventful weekend.  More to come later.

 

 

The carless days.

LOL I hope you did not read that and think it said careless.

My poor car is in the shop.  I started out driving the kid to school and we heard this big bang, then the car started whining. I thought at first it was my tires or something.  Turns out my transmission is broken.  Transmissions are expensive and take forever to fix. Well it feels like forever.  I am so glad we have the car that my daughter drives so I have someway to get the kid to school.   I will be without a car all this week and next week.  So no adventures for me unless I get a ride from someone else.

On a side note I did get to assist in a wonderful maternity shoot last night. No pictures to share here, since I was assisting.  Sorry. But it was a lot of fun and the model was beautiful.  I have a few new ideas for my next maternity shoot.

I am back!

We had a great time hiking in the Smoky Mountain National Park.  We also spent a day at Dollywood.  I enjoyed the shows and just being in the area. Tennessee is such a beautiful place to spend some time outdoors.  I will post some pictures soon for you.
